Who We Are

Since 1994, The Training Company has been helping organizations improve through training & consulting. We have a wide range of clients in the public & private sectors as well as health care and professional trade associations. Some specific organizations we've worked with include: Capital Health Authority, Government of Alberta (various ministries), the City of Edmonton, NAPA Auto Parts, Shaw Cable (Advertising), & Enviro-Test Laboratories Ltd.

We have found that training offered in itself, usually will not solve organizational or people problems. In order to improve performance, often a change is needed in systems and structures within the organization. We work to not only give people the skills, but to identify (and remove) the roadblocks to application of those skills,

We Believe

Our belief is that, there are no off-the-shelf people (you are not one are you?), or off-the-shelf organizations. Therefore, an off-the-shelf, training program is usually not effective

We also believe that knowing is not the same as doing. Therefore, our approach is to take the knowing and translate it into the doing - getting the results that you want.
