Delivering Service Excellence

Ask anyone if they deliver good customer service in their jobs. Almost everyone will say they do. In fact some will even say they deliver excellent service. Next, ask them to define customer service. Most people will say things like, "smiling at the customer", or, "listening to the customer." These are not definitions of service, rather they are actions people take to interact with customers.
